Why anarchy? - We left these three wines to themselves. After the harvest, the must was placed in 500l wooden barrels and nature went its own way in terms of fermentation. We only accompanied and are fascinated and enthusiastic about how the wines are presented in the glass and as food accompaniments.


2019 Johannisberg Scheurebe dry VDP.ERSTE LAGE
Gooseberries, some grapefruit and freshly mown grass on the nose. Juicy and strong on the palate, clear fruit with mineral and herbal notes. A fine acidity with very good substance and persistence. Puristic Scheurebe with impressive minerality.

2017 Kapellenberg Franconian Mixed Set dry VDP.ERSTE LAGE
In 2007, Reimund and Matthias Stumpf planted a vineyard in the Old Franconian-Mixed Set as a reminiscence to the pioneers of the Chapel Mountain origin. Original varieties such as Elbling, Gutedel, Muskateller and also Silvaner result in a complex and highly authentic wine. The motto here: it should taste like grandfather's time.

2015 Barefoot Scheurebe + Silvaner
A wine with many rough edges - like walking barefoot across the meadow. It can pinch and tweak, maybe hurt and surprise. So Matthias, if you ask him about his bare feet.
